What are the benefits of becoming a Pruv Vendor?

Prüv is a community of supportive artisanal entrepreneurs who are making a difference.

Prüv is the perfect platform to launch your start-up or small business. If you are a producer, maker, grower or seller of ethically sourced and sustainably made products that can be used in the kitchen or dining room, or are anything to do with great food, wellness and health, we would love to talk to you.

We provide the platform, the marketing, the payment portal and the support and all you need to do is upload your products.

Listing on Prüv does not replace any other online activity you may be making, it is just a great way to expand your audience and build new markets by presenting your products to a tailored audience who are already interested in what you have to sell.

Is it difficult to get listed on Prüv?

Not at all.

Just drop us an email to info@pruv.co.uk or fill in the form you will find [here] to give us details about your business and the products you would like to list. Please only apply once you have read the [Selection Criteria] and know that your company and products comply.

We will then both agree and sign the terms of our Agreement.

Once all the paperwork is agreed and signed off,  we will send you the access code to create your own pages on the Prüv website and a tutorial on how to go about it.  Once your pages are all uploaded including product pics and details including shipping costs etc, we will check everything through at our end and, once approved, you will receive an email from us confirming that your pages have gone live.

What happens when someone buys one of my products?

As soon as a sale is made through the Prüv site, you will receive an alert email with all the details of the order and the customer.  It is then up to you to ship the item to the client in a timely fashion, updating the relevant page on the website once you have done so.

The site automatically tracks all sales and at the end of each month we will send you a statement detailing these sales and the money owing to you, less our commission (as set out in the [terms and conditions]).

Payment will be forwarded to you within 21 days of you confirming the shipment or at the end of each month, assuming the month does not end within 21 days of any particular sale.  The reason for the delay is to protect you and us in the event that the customer exercises their EU rights to change their mind within 20 days of purchase.  Once your sales through Prüv reach critical mass (over £150 a month) we will make monthly remittances to you in order to minimise paperwork for both of us.

What do I do in the event of a customer complaint?

Obviously we hope that customer complaints are few and far between!

But, should the customer receive a faulty or incorrect item, or just change their mind (which they are entitled to do).  They will inform both you and the Prüv team and, in the case of items that have already been despatched, return the item directly to you.  If this is within the 20 day period set out in EU law, we will return the money to the customer directly and the transaction will be recorded in your monthly statement.

Please note that we reserve the right to de-list any member if we feel they are consistently failing to comply to our quality standards.  Our success depends on the success of all our members and vice versa so it is in all our interests to develop and maintain strong and positive customer relations at all times.

Is there a minimum sales requirement?

No there is no minimum sales requirement.  Although we reserve the right to cancel your membership if we do not feel that your are contributing to the community or that your products to not comply.

Is there a limit to the number of products I can list?

For the time being there is no limit on the number of products that you may list, although we reserve the right to review this from time to time

Is there any support if I have technical or IT issues?

We will provide you an initial tutorial and support to help you list your products with Prüv, but we have deliberately built the site to be as intuitive to use and as user friendly as possible.

If you get really stymied by something our IT team will step in to give you any assistance you need and the costs for this are set out in the contract we will sign with you.
